Terms of service
Last updated 9 September 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses the PixelShapr website and service (“PixelShapr”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or buying credits you accept them. If you use PixelShapr for a business, you confirm you have authority to accept them on that business’s behalf.
PixelShapr is a trading name of Darkhouse Holdings Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall Industrial Estate, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
1. What PixelShapr is
PixelShapr is a web tool that helps you run image-generation jobs. We provide organised workflows, a credit system, and libraries to keep your images organised.
PixelShapr is not a model developer. Generations are produced by third-party AI models that we connect to on your behalf. We do not develop, train, host, or control those models.
2. The service we provide
- Access to PixelShapr’s tools and workflows.
- A connection to third-party models, paid for with credits.
- Storage of your uploaded images and generated results so you can reuse and download them.
Our tools help you organise and run jobs. They do not guarantee, improve, or take responsibility for what the models produce.
3. What we do not warrant
Quality and outcomes. We do not warrant or control the quality, accuracy, usefulness, or outcome of any generation. Third-party models can produce poor, unexpected, incorrect, or unusable output — including output that does not follow your instruction, does not match your reference images, or fails entirely. We cannot promise that any particular result will be achieved.
Prompt craft is your skill. Getting good results depends on writing effective prompts and choosing appropriate inputs. Guidance we offer does not guarantee results.
Output suitability. Review outputs before you use them. We give no warranty that they are fit for any particular purpose, free of errors, or safe to use commercially.
4. Availability
We do not guarantee that PixelShapr will be available at all times, or that it will be error-free. Generations depend on third-party providers. Downtime, slow responses, or failures at those providers are outside our control. If a generation fails, we refund the credits for that job automatically (see section 7).
There is no service-level agreement. Do not rely on PixelShapr for anything time-critical.
5. Accounts
- To generate and buy credits you need an account, signed in with a magic link sent to your email. We do not use passwords.
- You are responsible for keeping that email address accurate and for protecting access to the mailbox — anyone who can open it can sign in.
- One person, one account. Do not share your account or let others use your credits.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
6. Your content
You keep the rights to the images you upload and, subject to any third-party-model terms, the outputs you generate. You grant PixelShapr the limited rights needed to provide the service: to receive, store, process and transmit your content to third-party models, and to display it to you.
You are responsible for the content you upload and the outputs you generate and use. You confirm you have the rights to that content and that using the service does not break any law or anyone else’s rights.
You must also follow the Acceptable use policy. Each third-party model may have its own rules; where those are stricter, they apply to that model’s use. We may refuse content, cancel jobs, suspend or close accounts, or remove content where we reasonably believe these terms or a model provider’s policy have been broken, or where the law requires it.
7. Credits, packs and payments
- Credits are prepaid units of value. A pack is 1,000 credits for USD 10.00 (or the price shown at checkout). One credit has a nominal value of USD 0.01.
- Each generation shows its credit price before you run it. The price you are shown is the price you pay.
- If a generation fails, the credits for that job are refunded to your account automatically.
- Expiry. Pack credits expire 24 months after purchase. If you still have credits in a pack, we email you about a month before expiry. When a pack expires, remaining credits in it are removed from your balance and the expiry is recorded on your account.
- Refunds. Credit purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or where we close your account at your request with unused, unexpired credits (see section 10). Chargebacks with your payment provider are between you and them; we cooperate as required.
- Credits are not money, are not redeemable for cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Prices at checkout are in USD. Any tax our payment provider collects is shown before you pay.
8. Intellectual property
The PixelShapr software, website, brand and content are ours (or our licensors’). Third-party models and their outputs may be subject to their providers’ terms. We do not claim ownership of your uploads or your generations. You do not need to credit PixelShapr, subject to any applicable model-provider terms and to this agreement.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights.
10. Closing an account
You can close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. If you close it with unused, unexpired credits we will refund their remaining pack value, less any amount we are entitled to keep.
We may suspend or close your account where you break these terms, where a model or payment provider requires it, or where we are legally required to. If we close your account for a breach, unused credits may be forfeited to the extent the law allows.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for the quality, content, or outcome of any generation, for how you use outputs, or for any loss caused by third parties (including model, payment, email, or hosting providers).
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with PixelShapr is limited to the value of the unused, unexpired credits standing to your account at the time the claim arises.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, your statutory rights are not affected.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant we will let you know (for example by email or a notice in the service) before it takes effect. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
